Miami, FL (September 27, 2010) – The benefits of Yoga have been widely documented across all populations and ages, and now prominent Yogi, Fred Busch, and Miami Yogashala are hoping to bring Yoga and its benefits to local youth. Ten-year-old Amandine Love Lerner is among the first youth at the Teacher Certification Course offered by Miami Yogashala.

The Teacher Certification course, which is taught, both at Miami Yogashala’s studios in South Beach and Brickell, began on September 11, 2010 and offers two options – a ten-week course or a 30-day intensive program. Also, for the first time ever, Miami Yogashala is offering a Teacher Certification in “Hot Yoga”, making it the only studio in Florida to offer “Hot Power Yoga” Teacher Certification.

Earlier this month, Lerner partook in the International Yoga Aid Challenge, raising over $750,000 for philanthropic causes around the world, including the Africa Yoga Project.

“There is a lot of suffering in the world but I know that together we can make a difference” Lerner said about her participation in the Challenge. “I want to share the bliss I have felt through Yoga with all my brothers and sisters” she added.

Having been in Miami for over 10 years now, Miami Yogashala has helped countless adults find physical, emotional and mental well-being through Yoga. Now, Miami Yogashala hopes to bring the benefits of Yoga to local youth, especially those in the Inner City. Yoga has already proven to be extremely successful in helping kids in large urban areas such as Los Angeles, and would be a great addition to poverty and crime-stricken areas in and around Miami

Amandine is the perfect choice to be the first youth representative at Miami Yogashala’s Teacher’s Training. Despite her young age, Amandine is already used to being a trailblazer. Just over a year ago, she was the first 9-year-old to ever exhibit at the world-renowned Art Basel Exhibition, which takes place every year in Miami.

Fred Busch says, “By providing the benefits of Yoga to youth, we are investing in the future of a world which will consequently be led by inspired, balanced and highly effective individuals. Re-establishing this essential balance will in turn benefit our societies on all levels, creating a degree of health, empowerment, and wealth we could only dream of without”

Miami yoga aid challenge

Amandine Love Lerner, a 10-year-old little girl from Miami raised over $1,000 for Celebrity Yoga Master Baron Baptiste's "Africa Yoga Project" in an effort to help suffering children and communities in Africa.

Amandine was the only child worldwide to participate in the Yoga Aid Challenge, an intense Yoga practice that encompasses performing 108 sun salutations. The challenge took 3 and a half hours to complete but little Amandine did not waver from her determination. Whenever she felt a little tired, she kept the little African children in her heart and re-channeled her energy in that way.

Amandine is the youngest child to be taking the Yoga Alliance Teacher Training Certification Program to become certified to teach Yoga to her peers. She is currently studying under the guidance of Miami's celebrated Yoga Master, Fred Busch, at Miami Yogashala - South Beach and Brickell. You can find out more about the project and continue to bring your support by visiting www.yogaaid.com/amandinelovelerner

The Africa Yoga Project is an ongoing charitable project. Getting involved is a simple way of showing gratitude and not taking for granted the fact that we are born in a part of the world where we have unlimited access to health and wealth.

Don't miss the most controversial FOOD TALK you'll ever hear... Beyond Supersize me and Food Inc http://conta.cc/brV0hS

We Are What We Eat: What You Don’t Know About the Foods You Are Eating and How They Can Kill You

Next Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 6:30pm (EST), The Let Love Rule Radio Show will feature Miami’s most celebrated Power Yoga Master, Fred Busch, as he discusses how to embrace a natural, health-giving diet and move away from the toxic, adulterated foods which have lead to the accelerated proliferation of degenerative diseases and mental illnesses of all sorts

Miami, FL (September, 13, 2010) – Everyday, a new perfect diet seems to emerge and food has now taken on a fetishism and promiscuity beyond all common sense. Our guest for the second show in a row, Fred Busch, will help us navigate the confusing messages we are bombarded with and finally take control over the food we feed our bodies and minds and ultimately regain health, balance and peace of mind.

Hippocrates, the father of modern Medicine, didn’t need to conduct any in-depth scientific study to come to the conclusion that, “We are what we eat”. He intuitively knew 2,500 years ago what modern society fails to acknowledge, i.e. degenerative diseases and mental illnesses that plague our society are directly related to the imbalances in our diet.

Busch, pioneering developer of The South Beach Detox®, a revolutionary cleansing program designed to bring people back to a state of physical and mental balance and the roots of healthy eating, will help listeners make small but significant steps in changing their eating patterns, leading them instantly to better strength, vigor, and vitality.

To tune into Busch’s highly controversial “Food Talk”, or for more information about the show, please visit: www.letloverule.ning.com. To call in with questions or comments, please dial (347) 324-5221, or email us prior to the show with your questions at aleslerner@hotmail.com or martin@livingthesimplelife.com with the subject headline “Let Love Rule Radio Show”. You can also participate in the Live Chat room during the show.
