Amandine Love Lerner, a 10-year-old local Artist, will be practicing yoga among internationally renowned yogis in a special fundraiser benefiting the Africa Yoga Project and other charitable causes.

Miami, FL (September, 10, 2010) – On September 19, 2010 Miami will host the Yoga Aid Challenge, a special 2-hour yoga practice to support philanthropic causes around the world, including the Africa Yoga Project. Among the participants will be Amandine Lover Lerner, a 10-year-old local artist who has been practicing yoga and meditation since the age of 3.

“There is a lot of suffering in the world but I know that if we all come together we can make a difference” Lerner says about her participation in the challenge. She adds, “When I close my eyes and think about Love, everything feels so good! I want to share this bliss I have felt through Yoga with all my brothers and sisters in Africa and the whole world”.

Yoga Aid began in 2006 in an effort to put action behind MC Yogi’s words, “When we live to give love, there’s no greater feeling.” The practices are held in large cities across the world and led by a series of 12 teachers, many of whom like Baron Baptiste, are internationally renowned. Participants seek sponsors and raise money for select charities.
